Our Properties and Property Management
It seems pretty standard; everyone hates their landlord. Their landlord is cheap, they don’t care about their tenants, and they don’t want to invest in their properties. We refuse to be seen this way. We are changing the game.
Whether it is the granite rooftop summer kitchen at our properties on Pontiac Street or the TV, built-in flat screen TV and iPod doc in the open kitchen/ living room of 110 Chester Street, or our travertine marble bathrooms in Parker Hill Avenue, Hodara is constantly putting their rental properties ahead of the competitions’.
Hodara’s mission is to have the highest tenant satisfaction by developing and managing properties that go above and beyond their expectations. With a focus fusing comfort, technology and contemporary design, Hodara keeps tenants happy while improving the community.

History of Hodara
In 2006, Alex Hodara earned his real estate salesperson's license during his Freshman year at Boston University. He started his career as a rental agent, learning the business from the ground up and finding apartments for friends and classmates. Two years later, as a Junior, Hodara sponsored four friends to get their real estate licenses, rented a tiny office space outside of Boston, and started what CNBC coined "the first student run real estate brokerage", without loans or investors. Quickly, Hodara's company grew from 4 agents showing apartments for a few landlords around the Boston area to 12 agents showing apartments for over 100 landlords in the greater Boston area.
In 2009, Hodara’s business grew to include Hodara Property Management co-founded by Vin Vomero and Jeffrey Zucker. Since 2009, Hodara’s brokerage has sold over ten million in multi-family sales, developed contemporary properties, and now manages over 150 bedrooms.
Community involvement has been an integral part of Hodara’s company since day one. For Hodara’s community involvement please click here.
